Dear Kia-family, We have an Kia Ceed 2.0 Crdi Sport (2008) that we experience multiple problems with that we would like to have fixed before we sell it to buy a newer model. We have four problems that need to be solved where two is more urgent (1 & 2) that our dealer cant solve. 1.) AUTO LOCK ENABLED EVEN IF RIGHT BACK DOOR IS OPEN windows / windshield problems 4 NHTSA complaints: 2. transmission problems 3. AC / heater problems 1. brakes problems 1 NHTSA complaints: 5. cooling system problems 1. electrical problems 1 NHTSA 2. Inspect connector connection, and check terminal for poor connections, loose wires, bent, broken or corroded pins, and then verify that the connectors are always securely fastened. 3. Slightly shake the connector and wiring harness vertically and horizontally. 4. Repair or replace the component that has a problem. Seems that KIA engine issues extend to the 3.3L. 2015 Sorento with 3.3L has same issue as recalled engines. Vehicle has 124,000 miles. Oil changed every 5,000 miles. Engine power, checked and oil Kia Pro Ceed Temperature Actuator. I've got a 2008 Kia Pro ceed 2.0 crdi, the car is only blowing cold air so with the help of reading posts on this forum I seen that it is likely to be the Hvac Temperature Actuator, so I stripped it down and took the part out, I moved the arm so that it is blowing hot air which it now is.
